About Me
Hey there, I’m lucy!
teacher, advocate, wife, + dog mom
I am a preschool special education teacher who has been teaching since 2014. I created this blog to document my teaching strategies and personal experiences, as well as to offer helpful products for teachers, resources for parents, and inspiration to speducators, like you!

about me
I’m originally from Buffalo, NY (GO BILLS!) but relocated to South Carolina in 2014 to pursue my teaching career. I have my Bachelor’s Degree & Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education + Special Education. I also hold a professional teaching license in both NY + SC.
I taught special education preschool in a public school for nine years. I served students with a wide range of abilities ages 3-4 all of whom have an IEP.
I am now a special education learning consultant for a private preschool where I serve special education students, coach teachers, and consult with families.
I implement a variety of strategies and methodologies which you can learn more about in my blog!
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy taking my dog to the beach, fitness, spending time with my husband, reading, and working on my TPT store. I love to stay active but I also love a good Netflix binge.
I’m so excited to bring you along on my teaching journey!
