Fall means Tree Study!🌳 Even if you do not use Creative Curriculum, this is such a fun study to do for fall. Pair it with all things apples and crunchy leaves! Let’s break down some of my favorite tree study resources.
DRAMATIC PLAY CENTER
My favorite way to bring a thematic unit to life is incorporating it into the dramatic play center! You can turn it into an APPLE ORCHARD or a GARDENING CENTER where students can “plant” trees. Just cut up some brown string and add it to a pot!

Students practiced sorting leaves using this color sorting mat (found in the FREE RESOURCE LIBRARY in the printable activities folder).
TREE CRATIVITIES
Grab this FREE printable in the FREE RESOURCE LIBRARY.
Create hands-on learning opportunities to discover who lives in trees and how trees change! These are great for morning work, independent workstations, or just for fun!
ADAPTED BOOKS
used these TREE STUDY ADAPTED BOOKS for so many thing! Whole group instruction, assessment, morning bins, book center, small group work, and even in centers! They were such an amazing way to explore different topics while keeping students engaged
